Town Center Bank Moves to
New Location in Coppell

COPPELL, Texas - Town Center Bank, the only bank based in Coppell, announced that today it moved into its new location. The brand new facility, located at 654 N. Denton Tap Road, near the southeast corner of Denton Tap Road and SH 121, will be open for business on July 18.

The nine-month-old, locally-owned bank first began serving the communities of Coppell, Lewisville and surrounding areas last October offering banking services and amenities that exemplify the atmosphere of a hometown bank.

"We are excited to move into our new building," said Ed Thomas, president and CEO. "We look forward to serving the community's banking needs for years to come. Stop by and let us demonstrate the difference a true hometown bank offers."

The new facility features unique amenities such as a computer station where customers can learn to execute online banking transactions, biometric technology used to enter the safety deposit box area, a children's room decorated as a bank to occupy their time while parents conduct banking business and a comfortable waiting area with a fireplace.

Specializing in lending for small to medium-sized businesses, Town Center Bank's on-site loan officers can review and approve loans in a very timely manner.

"I needed a loan for a business venture acquisition," said Byron Hoffman, who has lived in Coppell for more than 20 years. "After spending three weeks waiting to hear from a large area bank, I contacted Ed Thomas on a Friday. By Monday, Ed was able to get my loan approved and I had the money in hand. It was great working with Town Center Bank's quick in-house decision-makers."

Town Center Bank's customized banking products include a variety of checking accounts ranging from free checking to their premium Founders' Checking account. They also offer money market, personal and youth savings accounts, as well as certificates of deposit (CDs) and individual retirement accounts (IRAs). Town Center Bank's online services allow customers to access their accounts to view their account summaries, transfer funds and arrange to pay bills automatically.

Six individuals, including Thomas, make up Town Center Bank's Board of Directors. Chairman of the Board Robert A. Buchholz, the former president and COO of SWS Securities Group, recently moved back to the area to join Thomas in starting Town Center Bank. Howard F. "Sam" Carter, Jr., who owns and operates commercial real estate properties in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Louisiana, is a partner with the law firm Carter Holmes, PLLC. Long-time Coppell resident N. David Porter is the founder and president of Four P Investments, Inc., an oil and gas company. Nick H. Theodore, a career banker and former national bank examiner, is the former president and chairman of Keller State Bank. Candice M. Sheehan, the former mayor of Coppell, is a community leader and advocate for several nonprofit organizations.

"Since we opened, we listened to the community and heard them say they wanted and needed a hometown bank," said Buchholz. "Our new location allows us to offer customers the opportunity to experience the difference found in a hometown bank."

Town Center Bank President Ed Thomas brings 23 years experience in the banking industry and 21 years in commercial lending from several area banks. Thomas built a reputation for successful lending in the Coppell market that precedes him.

Coppell dentist and oral/maxillofacial surgeon J. Darrell Steele, DDS, MD recently moved his bank accounts to Town Center Bank.

"I had such a good experience with Ed previously at another bank, that I followed him to Town Center Bank," said Steele. "The convenience, excellent customer service and professional and personal treatment I receive from Town Center Bank convinces me that I'm banking at a great hometown bank!"
